Added studies and reviews (1998–2026)

Calcium and cancer is not one story. Food calcium and pill calcium do not read the same in the trials.

1999–2006 colorectal. Baron JA et al. calcium and recurrent adenomas; WHI colorectal arm (Wactawski-Wende et al., NEJM 2006) did not show a large short-term prevention effect from Ca+D pills.
2014–2024. Keum & Giovannucci reviews and WCRF/AICR: calcium from food is more consistently tied to lower colorectal-cancer risk than high-dose supplements. Prostate findings are mixed. Calcium is not a cancer treatment.

Not FDA-evaluated disease claims. Historic notes follow when present.

Elemental calcium amount and form still matter for absorption. That is the same logic used in Mag-Cal Plus and the Complete Formulas — not a cancer claim.
